i’m a filipino artist based in brooklyn, ny. i attended pratt institute for 4 years majoring in communication design, illustration and now i work as a full-time freelancer.

during my time in school, i discovered a passion for storytelling and have been looking for more and more ways to tell these tales ever since. comics however will always be my first love as it has been the most freeing avenue for me to express myself.

being born and raised in the US, much of my comics revolve around my experience being filipino, in an attempt to connect myself more with the culture, that for a long time, i have felt myself be disconnected from.

i also love all things odd and surreal and am always seeking to create things outside of my comfort zone. one of my biggest achievements thus far has been my thesis project entitled the dream doc in which i illustrated a 30+ page anthology comic book based on my dreams. it really pushed me to play with the traditional format of comics and strongly influenced my current process and the work i create now.

future projects include a webcomic titled, “crossroads” (first chapter already up!), the dream doc pt. 2, and several collaborative animated music videos. thanks for stopping by :)
